How it Started?

What started as a stray thought in January 2004, went on to capture the imagination of so many people at a short span of time, to create this organisation.

Founding Trustee:

Venkatesh Chandrasekaran, with more than 17 years experience in the field of consulting, project and program management, with wide teaching experience in engineering and embedded software solutions.

Living and working in Chennai, India started Schools for India Trust to change the education landscape of India, with the concept of providing the best infrastructure to even remote rural areas so that no child is left behind in getting the right education.

Trustee:

Viswanathan Chandrasekaran, with more than 20 years experience in farming, rural development, retail business, management with passion for charity and human development.

Living and working in India and deeply committed to the cause of the schools for India trust.
