School Student Rally:
Date: 19 January 2007
Start Time: 3 PM
End Time: 4 PM
Venue: Mayajaal- East Coast Road, Chennai. ( Distance- 5 KM)
Event Brief :
As part of the ICR on ECR international cycling race to be conducted on 19th January 2007 from Chennai to Pondycherry,
Schools for India is conducting the Cycle rally for Schools students separately on 12th January 2007.
Participation is open to students from the city of Chennai by invitation only. Over 1050 schools have been invited for the rally.

Cheering Squad:
Each school can send up to a maximum of 20 students to cheer their participant classmates. This will act as major support to
cheer the cause of education. This revolution will act as a catalyst in changing the face of education for the rural poor in India.
Bonafide certificate for all members of the cheering squad is compulsory.
Rules and Regulations:
- Participation open to XI and XII standard students ( Chennai Only)
- Maximum of 05 participants per school
- Rally Type: Boys Individual and Girls Individual
- Cycles will be provided to the participants, you can bring your own gear less cycles.
- Cycle Type: As provided by the organizer
- Registration Fee: Rs. 100 per student. The fee should be remitted in any UTI Bank branch in favour of “Schools for India
Trust” Account number: 2110 1010 0051 086.
- Prize Money: Boys- I Place: INR 20000 , II Place: INR 15000, III Place: INR 10000
Girls- I Place: INR 20000 , II Place: INR 15000, III Place: INR 10000
- Total Distance: 5 KM
- All registrations with the registration fee challan shall be sent along with the mentioned enclosures on or before 10th
January 2007. Registrations received after the 10th January 2007 will not be entertained.
- Water will be available at the venue. Energy drink will be provided for the participants alone. No refreshments will be
provided for the cheering squad and members accompanying the participants.
- Students should report in uniforms ( Mandatory)
- The organizer shall not arrange travel arrangements
- All participants must report at the German Hall, Habibullah Road, T.Nagar, Chennai- 6000 017 on 18th January 2007 at
1000 Hrs for the pre event briefing.
- Parents may accompany the participants for the event
- First aid kits and medical assistance will be organized at the venue by the Schools for India Trust.
- The participating students are responsible for the upkeep of the cycles provided at the venue.
Terms & Conditions:
01. The registration fee once remitted will not be refunded under any circumstances
02. All the participants are insured by the organizers for any injury during the event.
03. Prize money will be issued as a cheque
04. Any changes will be intimated ten days prior to the event.
